Tandem mass spectrometry analysis reveals changes in metabolome profile in Triticosecale seeds based on harvesting time

Triticosecale "Bilinda" (cultivar was bred in the laboratories of Leningrad Research Agriculture Institute, Branch Russian Potato Centre, Province) contains a large number polyphenolic compounds which are biologically active components. The purpose this work to conduct comparative metabolomic study extracts cultivar seeds harvested at different stages maturation. To identify target analytes HPLC used combination with an ion trap. results showed presence 93 corresponding Triticosecale. In addition reported polyphenol constituents, 28 polyphenols were newly annotated grains There 9 flavones, 7 flavonols, 2 flavan-3-ols, 1 flavanone, 5 hydroxybenzoic acids, hydroxycinnamic acid, anthocyanidin, condensed tannin, hydroxycoumarin, triterpenoids; diterpenoid, 6 sterols, isoquinoline alkaloids, 4 carotenoids, hydroquinone derivative and others bioactive compounds. Metabolic analysis significant difference classes amounts substances identified seeds, depending on time seed collection.
